Thu   1     Tower of London Ceremony of the Keys (Andrew)
          Participate in historic military ceremony and mini
          tour by Yeoman Warder. Free as long as you buy
          drinks in Yeomen's club! Dress code. 6.30 -
          10.30pm. 6 places only available - first come
          first serve.

Fri   2  – Mon 5    Castle Hedingham, Essex - Walking Weekend (Malcolm)
          Walks along River Colne, River Stour and to
          'Constable country.'

Sun 11     Balcombe Walk (Pauline)
          11 - 12 miles, lunch at West Hoathly. Visit the
          Priest House Museum & Gardens.

Sun 18     Grand Union Canal Walk (cont.) (Kathy)
          Watford to Uxbridge, approx. 11 miles. Meet East
          Croydon 9.30am.

Fri 23  – Mon 26    Pembrokeshire Camping (Andrew)
          Camping with the possible option of hostelling.
          Hopefully, 'Coasteering' along with other more
          tame pursuits.

Sat 31     Day trip to Brighton (Olga)
          Games and fish & chips on the beach. Meet at
          East Croydon 12 noon, catch 12.22 train. Bring a
          ball, badminton rackets and ping pong if you have
          them.

June

Sat   7  – Sun 8    Biggin Hill Air Show (Steve)
          Visiting either Saturday or Sunday.

Sat 14  – Sun 15    Castle Hedingham Cycling Weekend (Tim)
          Cycle from around Manningtree, Essex to Castle
          Hedingham on Saturday. Returning on Sunday.

Sat 28     Birthday Summer Ramble (William E.)
          Catch train from East Croydon to Lingfield
          arriving approx. 10.30am. 8 - 10 mile walk
          including lunch stop. Arrive at Wiremill approx.
          5.30pm for evening drinks/BBQ. William will pay
          for first round. Catch bus back to Croydon or
          walk back to Lingfield for train.

          From Lower Heyford, Oxfordshire.

Sun   6     Tanners Marathon (Jeff)
         

Sat 12     New Members stand - Lloyd Park World Party (Andrew)
          South London's biggest free music festival, music
          from 1 - 8pm.

Sat 19     Duxford Air Show / Proms (William E.)
          Concert of popular music combined with flying
          display, hot air balloons and firework finale.
          Can combine with visit to museum and make a full
          day of it. Concert price TBC - approx. £20.00.

Thu 24  – Sun 27    Camping in Devon / Dorset area (Malcolm)
          Details to follow.

Fri 22  – Fri 29    Northumberland (Linda & Andrew)
          Edmundbyers YH 20 miles SW of Newcastle from
          Fri-Mon. With extension to Fri 29th staying at
          Joiners Shop Bunkhouse, 10 miles N of Alnwick.
