DESCRIPTION:The walk will take place along the North Downs between Westhumble and Merstham\, about eleven miles. \n  \nMeet at the Stepping Stones pub near the Boxhill & Westhumble Rail Station from 9.30PM for a few drinks before setting off around 11.30PM. \n  \nBring all you would need for a day walk\, plus a torch. \n  \nTrains leave West Croydon at 20.34 – 21.15 – 21.34 – and the last one is at 22.15. (with a change along the way). The stop is Box Hill & Westhumble station. Get a single ticket. \n  \nReturn will be either from Mersham or Reigate in the early hours.

DESCRIPTION:Walk to Croham Hurst Woods where there is a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. \nIt is a very pleasant and easy max 3 miles walk. \nMeet at Lloyd Park tram stop by 8PM. \nIf you fancy a little longer walk you can meet me by Park Hill entrance on Barclay Road at 7.35PM. From there we will follow the Vanguard Way up to the tram stop. \nFollow by a drink at the Dog and Bull in Surrey Street\, hopefully it will be warm enough to sit in their lovely garden. You can either take the tram back or walk. \n

SUMMARY:Visitors/New Member’s Walk & Cycle Ride
DESCRIPTION:For both the Sunday Ramble/Cycle Ride\, meet @ 10.00am\, by the war memorial\, near old Town Hall\, Katharine Street\, CR9 1ET. \nWalkers catch 466 bus to The Fox pub\, Coulsdon. (Alternatively\, walkers could drive to that pub by 10.50 am.) \nWalkers will be led on a circular route in the lovely countryside around Coulsdon\, totalling 5 to 6 miles. There’s a pub stop at the end and\, hopefully\, cake and drink options en-route. You might choose to bring a packed lunch. \nCyclists will be led on a ride of approximately fifteen miles around the same area. (Mostly on-road plus some use of firm off-road tracks; road tyres should be fine.) There will be some opportunity to link up with the walkers during the day.
