But good news: Merton Abbey Priory\, which was due to be closed until August\, opens again this weekend and does contain\, along with the history of the Priory\, the industrial history of the Wandle. \nCoffee break at Watermill Cafe Merton Abbey Mills. \nCycle on to River Thames via Wandle Trail. \nCross over the Thames to the North Bank\, cycle lanes from Chelsea Bridge to Greenwich\, cross to South Bank at London Bridge. \nStop at Servewell Cafe Bermondsey\, Close to the cafe there is a large stainless steel sculpture of a cyclist and an opportunity for a group photo\, then onwards to the Waterfront at Greenwich. \nJoin Waterlink Trail to South Norwood\, another cafe stop near Ladywell Park \nDistance approx 40 miles\, ebikes welcome. \nJohn Eden eden.john1949@gmail.com \n07528299972.
