Stephen Best will be telling us about his recent trip to the UAE, where for part of his trip he travelled about 2,500km in four days through all seven Emirates. He visited a variety of different man-made and natural attractions, from hyper modern cities, such as Dubai and Abu Dubai with sights such as the world’s tallest building and the huge Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, to the more traditional city of Al Ain. This has many palaces, forts and a lush green oasis. Stephen also went to the rustic and isolated mountain town of Hatta, the majestic Hajar Mountains, and the vast Rub’ al Khali, otherwise known as the Empty Quarter, the largest sand desert in the world, and to the spectacular Liwa Oasis. Join Stephen for a brief tour of some of this diverse country.
