A Winter Warmer?

The very energetic black and purple clad “Black Swan” will be raising the temperature in our hall this week!  They will be stepping  through their many moves and demonstrating how a Border Morris side successfully thrashes at its members with no-one coming to harm.

Entertaining to watch and striking(!) to listen to as they rhythmically wield their sticks, as if they are percussive additions to the music.  (Yes, live musicians come as part of the deal.)  Participation by any COPSErs is definitely optional not obligatory – but most previous visiting Morris sides have had a good many of us on our feet, when the chance to dance a tune or two has been offered.

Some of us have already enjoyed watching Black Swan when our Tuesday evening involved attending Cryer Arts in Carshalton.  Come along to amuse yourselves this week, with the Club Night when they come to us!
