Here is the information about this year’s BBC Proms concert I have chosen for COPSE.

It’s on Monday 27 July starting at the earlier time of 7.00pm at the Royal Albert Hall.  The programme includes Richard Strauss’ Alpine Symphony presented by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Edward Gardner.  Full details here: Proms 2026 Calendar – By Date – BBC

To claim one of 12 tickets, contact me soon as.    Once we have established contact I will inform you how to pay me.

This year I procured the tickets a different way.  Online instead of in person.  This means I am limited to buying twelve tickets. (It also means I don’t yet have paper tickets.  They are due to be sent to me nearer the event.  This could be awkward as it means less time to distribute them.)  If you are unlucky in not being able to claim one of these I share below the details of where we are sitting and how you can get your own ticket near us.  (All being well.)

I have gone for a little pricier tickets this year.  Not quite the back row of the “Rausing Circle”.   They work out at £29 each.
