Croydon Pub Social
Quite a few COPSE members will be away at The Manor this week, so there WON’T be a club night at the Church Hall tonight.
Consequently, for those interested, I’m organising a “Central Croydon Pub Crawl” 🍺🍷🍸 🍵, where the plan is as follows =>
1) from 7pm to 8.30pm (approx)
“The Spread Eagle” pub in Katherine Street, and because there’s live football on TV I’ve already booked two tables (4 + 5) at the back by the window for those wanting a meal. See food options on their website https://whelanspubs.co.uk/whelans-premium/the-spread-eagle/
2) from 8.35pm to 9.20pm (approx)
“The Dog” pub in Surrey Street, which has now a covered “Wilderness Garden”. You can find food options on their website https://www.thedog.pub/, and they tell me they serve it until 10pm.
3) from 9.30pm until later
“The Royal Standard” pub under the Croydon fly-over in Sheldon Street, which only serves snacks.
