Overton Circular Walk

Sunday 3rd June 2018

Join us for a 14 mile circular walk from Overton, Hampshire exploring the Test River Valley and walking on Watership Down, inspiration for Richard Adam’s book of the same name.

From Overton, we will walk to Hannington, where we will have our first pub stop at The Vine. We then go onto Watership Down and stop at the gallops for a lunch break.
We then go along a back road, and take footpaths back to the train station. A paddle is possible in the river.

Meet at 0940 at East Croydon Station. We will get the 0951 train to Clapham Junction, then the 1022 to Overton arriving at 11.15. There is a free car park at the train station for those that wish to drive. Dogs are welcome on this walk.

So come along to have a great day out and see where the book Watership Down was thought of.
