This walk will follow the Capital Ring through North East London, from Finsbury Park to the Lea Valley. About 8 miles.

Meet at E. Croydon station by 9.20 for the 9.33 Thameslink train to Finsbury Park.

The walk will go via the New River, Stoke Newington reservoirs, Clissold Park to the Lea Valley finishing at Hackney Wick.

You can bring a packed lunch, but there are several cafes (and toilets!) along the way. As it is through parks and streets, no muddy paths.

There are several routes home from Hackney Wick (Overground) I will advise on the day.
