We’ve moved this walk to the Sunday as Saturday is expected to be really hot! 

Hello all,

It will be a downland walk, going through Bishopstone village and over the the downs to Litlington where there are tea gardens and the Plough & Harrow pub. Then along the South Downs Way via Westdene to Cuckmere Haven, from where there is a bus back to Seaford.

It will be a hilly walk of about 8 miles. Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water and sun cream as it will be still quite warm, but there is a possibility of rain late afternoon.

So meet at E. Croydon station 8.45 with a return ticket to Seaford £19.80 with railcard.

Then we get the 9.02 to Lewes, changing there for the 10.06 to Seaford. But we alight at Bishopstone, the penultimate stop, where we meet our guide, Pauline.
