Continuing to be inspired by Paul’s assault on the Loop, and encouraged by the enthusiastic turnout for Parts 1 to 8, I’m continuing the Capital Ring circuit.

This leg is a stroll of about 5.6 miles, mostly on tarmac, pavements and grass. There are a couple of steep slopes. Some muddy trails are possible but, in current weather conditions, unlikely.

There are plenty of feeding and toilet opportunities along the way, and there are pub options at the end, yet to be investigated.
