The Cuckmere Pilgrims Path – Part 2 (Eastern Churches)
Saturday 16th May @ 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
This is a pretty walk with some stiles and small, gentle hills.
We will walk the route from Berwick Station via the churches in Arlington to Wilmington, Lullington and finally Alfriston, with plenty of stopping on the way. The route is approximately 5.81 miles.
How to get there
Take the 09.10 train from East Croydon arriving at Berwick Station at 10.25. Please check there is no change at Lewes.
I will meet the group at 10.25 at Berwick station
Travelling back from Alfriston to Berwick
Option 1 – The community bus departs Alfriston, Market cross at 17.08 and takes a long route back to Berwick Station arriving at 17.48
Option 2 – We could walk another 3 miles from Alfriston to Berwick.
Travelling from Berwick to East Croydon
Trains depart Berwick station at 9 mins past and 25 mins past the hour.
We will aim to catch the 18.09 train which arrives at East Croydon at 19.18 via Lewes.
