Here’s my route:

10.20 Gather at East Croydon Station

10.37 from Platform 4 to London Bridge

11.01 from London Bridge Platform 1 to Chislehurst (in Zone 5), arriving 11.25

then a short walk to the Caves

No doubt other routes are available, and there is car parking if you want to go that way.

3 Optional stroll of 3.5 miles around the Hawkwood Estate

Some paths may be muddy, but otherwise an easy walk.
