To those interested in coming on my “surrey town walk” this Saturday (25th) this is the plan =>

– From 10am meet opposite East Croydon station (bus stop E7) 

– 10.15am (approx) 466 bus to Westway Common in Caterham on the Hill (Surrey) which is the LAST STOP of the 466 bus route.

From 11.15am (approx) an “ups + downs” six mile walk (which could be muddy) via the Caterham barracks redevelopment, “the fox” pub (lunch stop), happy valley, farthing downs to Coulsdon Town centre for about 4pm with an option at the end to go to “the Pembroke” pub where there are plenty of buses going to Banstead, Purley + Croydon.
