Country Walk – Capital Ring, Part 2 – Falconwood to Grove Park, with a Detour
Sunday 29th June @ 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Continuing to be inspired by Paul’s assault on the Loop, and encouraged by the enthusiastic turnout for Part 1, I’m continuing the Capital Ring circuit. Click on the map for full details of what the Capital Ring is.
According to the book this leg is only a matter of 3.5 miles, described by the official app as “gorgeous”, but hardly a sufficient stretching of legs for the power walkers of COPSE. So we’ll be extending the trip to take in a visit to “The Last Remaining Tudor Barn in London”, making the whole walk about 6 miles. The terrain is mostly flat on paths and tracks.
There will be feeding and toilet opportunities along the way.
We can return from Grove Park Station via London Bridge.
