The Weald Walkers Wander is a team walking event with a difference.

Each team will use their skills to map their routes between check-points and solve a series of on-route clues whilst walking the route. Each checkpoint will involve a short challenge or quiz to make it a good fun day out for all.

Walking boots are recommended and suitable outdoor clothing for the weather. Cold drinks and biscuits will be provided at the checkpoints, fruit and hot drinks at the lunch stop and hot drinks, cakes and cheese and biscuits at the finish. All provided free.

Each team must have the latest Ordnance Survey Map, Explorer 147. Also bring a compass, pen and clipboard.

You may enter in teams of between 2 and 5 people and at least one person in each team must be 16+.

Teams will leave between 9.15 and 10. There is a time limit of 7 hours but it is not a race. The route is about 10 miles, mostly on footpaths – which may be muddy.
