Bus travel from Croydon – meet at the ‘Park Lane / Fairfield Halls’ bus stop at 15.45 to catch the 403 bus to Warlingham Green (departs 15.54). It’s an approx 20 minute bus ride. From Warlingham Green we walk around three quarters of a mile to the pub. This will entail firm tracks, pavements and crossing a field. We may well therefore be walking over wet grass or wet bare ground. So wear suitable footwear.

It will likely be getting dark when we set off back for Croydon. We can avoid the field by walking on lanes. A torch would be useful.
