Ignore the threat of the date and make it fun not scary! Consider joining some of our Club Members at the next Stanley Halls folk dance, which will be slightly different, in that it will be in a “French Bal” style. (There is a pre-dance tuition session but steps can be simple enough to master during an evening – with the option of adding in extra twirls and claps to embellish, as people feel inclined! )
Dances might include Mazurkas, Bourrées, Schottisches, French waltzes and polkas, and possibly Breton circle dances.
